Startup life is its own special universe. I joined this company a few months ago after years at an Internet behemoth, and I can’t begin to describe the differences in how we operate here at the Rubicon Project. It’s a combination of madness, mayhem and genius breakthroughs, and that’s usually before lunch.

As the VP of Product & Engineering, I work with some of the most talented folks in the company (& that’s saying a lot around here - this company is loaded with A+ players). Their commitment to creating great products and serious value for our customers is unmatched. And they manage to do it amidst some fierce games of poker, pool and ping pong.

My only frustration is that we need more great people. I can say without hesitation working at the Rubicon Project is a great opportunity for an engineer or product manager. Again, our team is incredible - passionate, smart, fun and fearless. Our products are truly helping websites small and large make more money from ads and become more efficient. And our company culture is actually about the people - both our own employees, our customers, and our community. We don’t just talk the talk . we walk the walk, every day.
