Rubicon Project launches Brazil office

Rubicon Project launches Brazil office

Following our Japan launch in February, we’re happy to announce our latest office opening in São Paulo, Brazil.

According to the latest numbers from Magna Global, programmatic spend in Latin America is set to reach $836mm in 2014, representing a 67% growth from the previous year, with Brazil accounting for more than half of that.

We will be discussing our office launch and growth in advertising automation in Latin America at ProXXIma, the biggest digital marketing event in the continent, where we will be speaking on Wednesday 7 May.

One of our customers, Martin Scott Greenblat, Director of Digital Business at Grupo Abril says:

“Rubicon Project’s expansion into Brazil means we can tap into local market knowledge, and benefit from their market-leading automation platform across our titles. Latin American markets have shown a potential for rapid growth with both publishers and advertisers, complementing existing offerings with the efficiency gains from automation that have been witnessed in larger markets.”

We are also happy to announce two individuals who will be working to support local buyers and sellers in the region: Salomão B. Rodrigues Junior as Account Director and Thiago Farias Lima Silva as Ad Operations Specialist.

Martin adds: “Salomão brings a good mix of technical skills and market knowledge to help leading publishers in Brazil like us take advantage of this burgeoning market.”

We look forward to more exciting announcements in this market soon, and look forward to seeing you at ProXXIma.
