The digital advertising industry is fast paced and ever changing. Our teams are constantly challenged to keep up with the pace and excel at all times. Every once in a while it’s important to take a step back and acknowledge the successes of a hard working team. The London-based international operations team did just this after onboarding new, multi-zone publishers, trafficking campaigns and keeping up with the constant demands of ad quality maintenance. Nigel Edmund-Jones, Director of Publisher Services in the UK took the Operations team to ‘Up at the O2’.
Up at the 02 is a challenging outdoor experience like no other with views to die for. “It was a team-building event and not one for anyone who doesn’t like heights,” said Edmund-Jones. After an amazing, 90-minute climb up and over the O2 domed roof the team rode in the new Emirates Air Line, a 90m-high cable-car strung across the River Thames. The cable car arrived at a watering hole on the north side of the river where they celebrated their team day in a more conventional style.
