Rubicon Project Hearts Hartley House

New York’s Hartley House was first introduced to Rubicon Project during our 1% of profits to charity initiative [more details can be found here]. Hartley House, whose programs include educational, creative, recreational, civic and social services, was the charity of choice of several of our team members to receive a financial donation on behalf of the company. Having established a relationship at the beginning of the year the team decided to dedicate their time and efforts to the organization when a need presented itself.

This past quarter, our NYC office committed to help set up a special event for about 60 kids and their parents. The team transformed the Hartley House’s recreational space into a festive Valentine’s Day environment. In the words of Courtney Cooke, Hartley House’s Director of After School & Summer Camp Programs, the service provided by our NYC office was invaluable. This event proved to be a creative & impactful experience for all parties involved.

Hartley House provides social, educational, and recreational services to those who live and work in Hell’s Kitchen. Its mission is to respond energetically and creatively to the ever-evolving needs of its neighbors regardless of their age, income, race, gender or sexual orientation.
